Well, it was a rainy day in San Francisco yesterday. Some people would think it’s the perfect day to stay home, some environmentalists think it’s the perfect day to collect rain drops, and some people are just scared to walk on the sidewalks, that’s me. I started seeing rainy days as a little war zone, and I’m weaponless. People walk towards you with their huge umbrellas, some short, some long but most importantly no one cares about you. I sometimes think they just don’t see me, maybe I’m invisible. Anyway, I find the most dangerous umbrella holders on the streets on a rainy day the ones using their phones. They’re like kamikazes, or drunk drivers. They will take you down and won’t even know about it. They probably don’t care about it either, well I mean if they did, they would watch out where they’re going, right?  Random fact #84: I listened 139,839 songs since Dec 14, 2007.

I remember once upon a time, my parents forced me to take piano lessons. I was either 8 or 9, I hated the idea. Now I barely remember how to play, I wish I continued to take lessons and practice, oh well. 

Oh and this is that one song I remember how to play, and the little art work I did for it.

I track my steps daily. I track a lot of things daily. I work for a company specializing in devices that can track a lot of interesting things. These stats, when you look at them through a larger time frame, become interesting almost instantly. So I took the time and the liberty to gather around some information. Last 425 days, which is 1 year 1 month and 29 days, I took 1,652,665 steps. This would take me to 28th Ave W. Alderwood Mall Pkwy Lynwood, WA (Street view) from where I live in San Francisco.  Random fact #17: One year ago today, I started pushing pixels for Fitbit.

Well, it’s almost 2012 and Kerem is just creating his blog. No, I’m not going to talk about myself in 3rd person in this blog, sorry. I actually secretly had a blog for my puppy, but never got around having my own little space where I write about stuff I like, dislike, enjoy, find interesting, etc. So here it is. I should probably write something about welcoming you, talking about my life goals and possibly some personal stuff. Unfortunately I will NOT be talking about these things. It will probably start as tech related posts where I talk, review, argue things around me. Then, I will most likely keep this blog as my personal cry wall, cab drivers being disrespectful individuals in traffic or San Francisco trying to limit off-leash dog parks, I may even go into politics if you’re lucky. I will probably then go to the personal bookmark phase where I start posting cat videos that I want to watch later. Then I will probably neglect this blog for a month so, and back to where I started. Random fact #32: I’ve sailed in 147 international sailing races.
